As much as we have all learned to navigate the pandemic, it has been a huge learning experience for employers and employees. The perimeter that IT needs to secure has grown exponentially while the complexity of attacks has gotten more and more complex. At the same time, employers have had to learn how to navigate remote collaboration while some also having to deal with kids constantly interrupting them. Companies that had the underlying infrastructure needed and the systems in place for flexible work had an easier time transitioning to this new normal.
