Citrix Cloudは2017年のデビュー以来、Citrix DaaSとして仮想デスクトップ・アプリケーションサービスを提供し、お客様の毎日の業務を支えています。 Citrix Cloudではこの度、アカウントとシステムを紐づけて固有環境を構築するための、一番基本的な仕組みが更新され、大きなマイルストーンを通過しました。お客様のクラウド環境が一層合理的、効率的に運用できるようになりました。 Org IDにつき1テナントの壁 これまで、お客様はひとつのOrg IDにつきひとつのCitrix Cloudアカウントとテナント(Citrix Cloudの利用単位、実際のワークロードVMを展開する環境)しか持つことができず、大きな課題でした。なぜなら、1企業につきひとつのOrg IDが基本ですが、現実には複数の、場合によってはかなりたくさんのIDが付与されるケースがあるからです。つまり、同じ企業において複数IDとともに複数テナントが用意され、これが煩雑な管理のみならず無駄なリソース消費、Citrix利用状況一元把握が困難、またユーザーエクエスペリエンス低下につながりました。 複数テナントが必要と言われるケースには以下の要件があり、一概に否定できないものもあります。 ・テスト環境と本番稼働環境を分けたい(稼働後も、テスト環境を保守・障害発生時の対応に維持したい) ・地域ごと、または業務ごとに分けたい ・オペレーションのキャパシティによって分けたい ・SIパートナーが複数顧客用に、それぞれテスト、本番環境を用意したい ・データレジデンシー対応 解決は1IDに複数テナント Citrixは、メインのOrg…
