It’s been 90 days since Unicon became part of the Citrix family—and what a transformative journey it’s been. As we reflect on this pivotal period, reaching a high point in the recent UNITE sales kickoff event in New Orleans, one thing is abundantly clear: the strategic alignment between Unicon and Citrix is delivering powerful outcomes for the modern hybrid workplace.

Citrix with Unicon: A perfect match

When the acquisition was announced in January, we immediately saw the potential to create meaningful synergies. Citrix already leads in delivering virtual apps and desktops, zero trust access, and secure application delivery. By integrating Unicon’s secure endpoint OS and management capabilities, Citrix now offers end-to-end control across the entire technology stack.

This idea sits at the heart of our vision: when we control the endpoint, we control the entire experience.

Being part of Citrix has unlocked tremendous scale. In one internal session alone, we presented to over 400 technical specialists—each one a force multiplier within the organization. Coming from a team of fewer than 10 sales people and specialists, the contrast is striking! But the momentum goes beyond internal alignment: in the first six weeks, we’ve received more qualified customer inquiries than we had throughout the entire previous year. The market clearly sees the value of the enhanced Citrix platform—now with eLux.

UNITE 2025: Showcasing the power of our combined solution

The UNITE event was the ideal stage to showcase how Unicon strengthens the Citrix platform. Enthusiasm from the go-to-market teams was evident as we demonstrated the capabilities of eLux and Scout.

I was honored to join Hector Lima on the keynote stage and present to more than 700 Citrix colleagues and 250 partners. It was a defining moment—sharing our vision and spotlighting the value Unicon brings to the broader Citrix platform.

What followed was an outpouring of engagement: countless questions, conversations, and enthusiasm around how our combined solution can improve endpoint security, simplify management, and deliver more value across industries.

One standout moment was the announcement of the integration with Google Chrome Enterprise Premium. This partnership fits seamlessly with our strategy, pairing the world’s most trusted enterprise browser with eLux’s secure endpoint environment.

The result: a best-in-class solution for secure application access. Whether users choose Chrome Enterprise Premium or Citrix Workspace App (CWA), they get seamless, secure access to virtual desktops and apps wherever they are.

Extending hardware lifecycles, reducing costs

Another critical benefit of our integrated solution is the ability to extend the life of existing hardware. With Windows 10 approaching end-of-life and an estimated 250 million devices at risk of obsolescence, repurposing hardware is more important than ever.

eLux enables organizations to extend device lifecycles from 3 to 5 years, unlocking savings of up to 40%. These gains are already being realized across healthcare, finance, and other sectors with large task-based workforces.

A true team effort

Collaboration has fueled this journey. Early on, I spent a week with our product and engineering teams in Bangalore to align on roadmaps, spark innovation, and accelerate feature delivery.

A great example of that collaboration? Boot to VDI – a concept born during those sessions and implemented in under four weeks. This streamlined workflow allows a device to power on and launch directly into a virtual desktop. The result: a faster, simpler, and more secure experience for end users—and reduced support overhead for IT teams.

UNITE was a testament to the power of teamwork. From early planning to on-the-ground execution, the commitment and coordination across functions helped us deliver a unified, compelling message.

The future of secure endpoints

Looking ahead, our mission remains clear: to help organizations enable secure, flexible work by delivering complete endpoint control. deviceTRUST is already part of our latest release, and uberAgent will be available soon. This is just the beginning. There’s even more innovation on the horizon, particularly in the healthcare space. Stay tuned.

The first 90 days have exceeded expectations. As part of Citrix, we’re redefining how organizations approach endpoint management and secure application delivery.

As we continue this journey, one thing remains true: when we control the endpoint, we control the entire experience. With eLux now part of the Citrix platform, that control is smarter, more secure, and more cost-effective than ever.
