Welcome to the Citrix Technology Professional (CTP) class of 2023!

In 2018, we restructured the Citrix Technology Professional (CTP) program by partnering CTP members with Citrix product managers and engineers to form specialty product-focused groups. These smaller working teams have engendered greater trust and better communication between CTPs and product teams and, in the end, a better set of Citrix products. Andy Paul

Andy is President of Cloud Nine Services, where he leads a global team of cloud architects. He works with partners to provide design, implementation, management, and advisory services. Andy leverages his deep expertise to craft solutions for customers needing professional and managed services. Andy worked with cloud and virtualization technologies for more than 20 years and is considered a global subject matter expert for VDI, including Citrix, Microsoft, and VMware products. He is a virtualization architect, instructor, speaker, and author, as well as a former Citrix Technology Advocate and a featured conference presenter.

Fredrik Brattstig

With more than 20 years of experience of the VDI/remote apps and desktops niche, Fredrik lives by the mantra of providing a high-end user experience. His heart lies in advanced graphics delivery. Fredrik is currently employed at IGEL Technology as EMEA Technology Evangelist. One of his responsibilities at IGEL Technology is designing and building demos of high-end multimedia in the world of remote graphics. The primary focus is to provide extreme user experiences in server-based computing. Recent projects have been about gaming, 3D modeling, CAD, and virtual reality in the world of IGEL OS, remote sessions powered by accelerated graphics. Fredrik is very active in the Community discussing technologies and providing hints on how to solve issues. He sees a great benefit of communities, as this is a good way to spread knowledge, get input from participants using products you love working with, and finally, a good way to increase your global personal network.

Henry Heres

Henry Heres is a freelance consultant and owner of Technicalfellow Consultancy. He is also a co-owner/founder of De Technische Jongens, a trusted Citrix solutions partner and service provider. As a consultant he is responsible for designing and implementing end-user computing projects. With 17 years of experience, he can translate business needs to IT needs. Henry has a primary focus on Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, NetScaler, XenMobile, and Citrix Endpoint Management, but he has also knowledge about VMware and Microsoft technologies in the broadest sense. He has been awarded as an vExpert, vExpert Avi, and vExpert EUC and is involved in advice, design, and troubleshoot projects.

Julian Jakob

Julian Jakob is a Solutions Architect at Option Consulting GmbH in Switzerland, but he is based in southern Germany. He has more than 10 years experience in the EUC industry, and now focuses mostly on complex NetScaler and Citrix multi-tenant DaaS environments. He also works as a Citrix Service Provider. Julian holds almost all Citrix certifications in workspace and networking. Three years ago, he started a virtualization community (https://vcbawue.de) in the south of Germany with other community friends. In addition to Citrix, he is interested in Microsoft Azure’s identity and access management.

Mick Hilhorst

An enthusiastic senior consultant, Mick Hilhorst likes to program and educate and is most involved with NetScaler. Mick wrote Turbo NetScaler, a community toolkit to make day-to-day management easier. If it can be automated, Mick is interested.

Sarah Vogt

Sara Vogt is in the trenches daily using Citrix, both on premises and via Citrix Cloud, for Greenberg Traurig, a global law firm. She is a CUGC XL attendee, panel speaker, emcee, and all-around go to guinea pig whenever needed.  She has been CUGC Orlando Leader 2017; CUGC Steering Committee Member 2017, Vice President 2019, and President 2022; and a Women in Tech Mentor 2018-Present.

Thomas Preischl

Thomas Preischl works for EDV-BV GmbH (member of teccle Group) in Germany and as Head of Technology. He’s responsible for the introduction of new technologies and the advancement of customers in the area of datacenter and modern workplace. His focus is on strategic consulting for customers and supporting teams with the architecture. Before joining EDV-BV, he worked as a Citrix administrator and later as a virtualization expert. He has been a member of the CTA community since 2020.
