We’re delighted to be officially recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces by Great Place to Work, the global authority on workplace culture, for the second consecutive year.
Four in five (81 per cent) UK-based employees said our company is a great place to work — and this is fresh off the back of Citrix being named one of the 100 Best Companies to Work For by Fortune. This most recent recognition is based on a Great Place to Work employee survey and culture audit from June 2021. We’re incredibly proud to have achieved this accolade for our team.
As a business committed to freeing people to work the way they want, we practice what we preach. We give our employees the space to succeed by encouraging them to work flexibly in order to maintain a healthy work/life balance. We have also rewarded the team with dedicated ‘thank you’ days — providing additional leave across the company to refresh and recharge the batteries in particularly busy moments. During the first two years of the pandemic, we also established a companywide PTO week to give employees much-needed time to disconnect from work.
Other highlights employees mentioned in the survey include our family and well-being benefits. For example, Citrix offers extended parental leave of five months’ full pay for all new parents. Alongside this, in light of the pandemic, the mental health support from trained Mental Health First Aiders and managers was also cited as valuable.
At Citrix, we invest in each other’s success and advocate for each other. It’s simply part of our culture. “Citrix is my second family. I have always felt like I belong here,” said one employee.
As part of empowering our teams, we have also established 10 employee resource groups to support underrepresented groups of employees to build “safe spaces” for members, educate allies, and attract and retain diverse talent. We regularly share personal and professional stories of inspirational colleagues for events such as International Women’s Day and Black History and Mental Health Awareness months.
At Citrix, we innovate with purpose. We need every Citrite to contribute to bringing innovation to market with performance and speed, which means giving employees the opportunity to take risks and insert unique perspectives that help solve customer challenges. In support of this, our team is empowered to pull together, build, and demonstrate new features for current products or ideas for new offerings at the annual Tech Fair, an event which proves particularly popular with our developer community in Cambridge. Our senior executives regularly attend the event to engage with team members and provide feedback.
We’re incredibly proud to once again be recognised as one of the best places to work in the UK and will continue to invest in our teams to provide the best possible employee experience, fostering a culture of happy and motivated teams across the business.
