Streamlining processes is key to improving end-user productivity. Citrix microapps provide users with a streamlined process to complete tasks such as registering for an enablement course, approving an expense report, or restarting their session right within Citrix Workspace. Citrix microapps empower end users to become more productive, which in turn results in cost savings for organizations.
This year, Citrix added Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops service as a back-end system of record with out of the box template integrations for Citrix microapps. This enables users with the ability to perform self-service actions from within Citrix Workspace, instead of having to call the help desk.
Additionally, with Citrix microapps, administrators can simplify workflows such as IT self-service workflows, HR self-service workflows, employee well-being workflows, and back to office workflows.
In this episode of The Click-Down podcast, Dan Feller and I discuss microapps and how they work. We’re also joined by Phil Wiffen, Technical Marketing Manager at Citrix, to talk about the latest microapp template with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop service. Finally, we talk with Nathan Mote, Sr. Product Manager, about how customers are using microapps to create workflows for their end users.
