Do you know that feeling when your plane is taking off and you’re pressed back into your seat, just before the plane lifts off the ground? On average, your plane is traveling 180mph (289km/h). Do you know what’s faster? An Aston Martin Red Bull Racing driver charging down the straights at Monza, chasing a spot on the podium.
While no strangers to speed on the track, the Formula 1 racing world endured the same screeching halt and pivot as the rest of us when the pandemic shut everything down.
Season two of the Remote Works podcast launches with our partners at Aston Martin Red Bull Racing, who share how their drivers, leaders, and entire team have adapted to remote working, while still traveling and competing around the world.
You’ll hear from Max Verstappen, the youngest driver ever to win a Formula 1 race, about the technology he uses to keep his competitive edge sharp, and Alex Albon tells us how remote work has changed racing this year. Christian Horner, team principal, dives into what it takes to keep his team running in high gear while avoiding burnout. Plus, journalist and author David Tremayne shares some great tips for building a solid employee culture.
We’re all living in the future of work now, and now we’ve got to master best practices in technology, in digital well-being, and in employee experience.
