Citrix’s New Workspace webinar series explores the evolving workplace

Following a successful first series of The New Workspace, I am delighted to announce the launch of the second three-part series of webinars, in which we will delve more deeply into how the modern workplace has evolved in the wake of COVID-19, including the sudden global shift to increased flexibility and the consequences and challenges this has for organizations and employees.

The virtual events will be streamed on September 15, 22, and 29. I hope you will be able to join me for what promises to be an enlightening second series as we discuss how we move forward positively into this “new” phase of work.

Once again, I will be joined by a panel of top industry experts and influencers in their field, including Carla Hall, Head of Workforce and Workspace at Fujitsu; Katharina Wittgens, Business Psychologist and Managing Director at Innovationbubble; Daryll Scott, Director of Human Technology at LAB Group Ltd.; Thomas Hatch, CTO and Founder at SaltStack; Maria Trivellato, Director of Talent Acquisition at Citrix; Gerard Lavin, Product Strategist at Citrix; and Kurt Roemer, Chief Security Strategist at Citrix.

For most of this year, “business as usual” has been far from normal. The outbreak of COVID-19 meant organizations had to pivot quickly to remote working to keep their users productive and their businesses running smoothly. At the time, leaders were unsure how long the situation would continue for, with many anticipating the changes would be temporary. But, with little sign of the pandemic abating, businesses must consider what’s next and how they move out of survival mode to thrive in these times of huge change.

Let’s face it, disruptions can happen to everyone, at any time, and COVID-19 has brought that reality to the fore. This second series of webinars will tackle some of the biggest topics in this new phase of work, including the role of leadership in this new world, how organizations can stay resilient and focus on digitizing their business, as well as protecting themselves from the increased security risks that come with unprecedented levels of remote workers.

The new webinar series will run as follows:

Episode 4: The Role of Leadership in the New World of Work (September 15 at 10 a.m. BST)

To open this second series, we will consider how leaders and employees navigate a return to the office while juggling workplace culture, productivity, and employee experience. We will ask:

Episode 5: Building a Resilient Business for the Future of Work (September 22 at 10 a.m. BST)

In the fifth episode of the webinar series, we will look at how to future proof and create an adaptable organization. While many employees are returning to work, this is not a return to normality, and a lot of work still has to go into adapting to the new dynamics of the workplace. The questions we will ask include:

Episode 6: The Tension Between Effective Security and Employee Experience (September 29 at 10 a.m. BST)

Security has never been more important with so many people working remotely.  The sixth episode will consider how organizations can optimize their security strategy in a way that does not compromise employee experience. We will ask:
