Now more than ever the ability to easily scale up or spin down virtual applications and desktops to enable your distributed workforce is mission critical for organizations of all sizes.

It’s an imperative that you have the ability to quickly enable your distributed workforce to be productive remotely from anywhere and on any device. In fact, it is no longer a strategy for large organizations, but also for companies of ALL sizes, across ALL regions, and across ANY industry.

For decades leading organizations across the globe have been able to leverage the scalability and flexibility of market-leading Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops to provide an optimal experience to their employees. Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop service enables businesses to provide secure and easy access to authenticated corporate apps and desktops to anyone working from home. Enterprise IT can centrally and easily manage and deliver secure workloads and resources that are in the cloud, on premises or any combination of hybrid cloud.

In expanding Citrix’s commitment to enable customer choice and hybrid-cloud deployments, we previously announced our intent to support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops service with VMware Cloud on AWS. We are excited to officially announce Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops service support for VMware Cloud on AWS in conjunction with Citrix Provisioning 1912 LTSR or newer.

Now, within a single management tool, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops service allows you to easily manage and provision Citrix workloads to extend your virtual apps and desktops in vSphere as needed, between either on-premises deployments or within VMware-based clouds, starting with VMware Cloud on AWS. This further demonstrates Citrix’s commitment to enabling customer choice by facilitating the seamless deployment of enterprise workloads in any chosen hybrid-cloud architecture.

Support for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops with VMware Cloud on AWS provides our customers additional flexibility with their rapidly evolving business continuity strategies by securely delivering employee instances and secure virtual desktops, in additional hybrid-cloud configurations.
