Deploying configuration profiles has never been easier with CEM

Management of hundreds of macOS endpoints can be difficult if your organization has custom configurations that are hard for users to set up themselves. It’s easy to implement these setting for your users with macOS configuration profiles. These are XML files (.mobileconfig) that provide an simple way to define settings and restrictions for computers and users.

Citrix Endpoint Management (CEM) supports the upload and deployment of these configuration profiles to your macOS endpoints. It enables admins to construct custom payloads using either Apple Configurator 2 or Profile Creator, then upload them to CEM using the Import iOS and macOS Profile device policy.

This policy enables IT admins to quickly scale across a large user base for a quick deployment, with the custom settings that fit your organization’s needs. Sometimes macOS and iOS admins need to create a more detailed profile or deal with more advanced uses cases. Citrix Endpoint Management can help, no matter how complex or custom the use case.

IT admins must first create a device configuration profile (.mobileconfig) for iOS and macOS using either Apple Configurator 2 or Profile Creator. Once the device configuration is created it can then be uploaded using the Import iOS & macOS Profile device policy.

Other common examples we have seen customers use include:

These policies make it easier for users to get set up with the apps and configurations they need. No matter how custom your organizations settings are, the Import iOS and macOS Profile device policy can help. Check out our Citrix Docs page for more information on Citrix Endpoint Management.
