We continue to monitor the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation around the globe, and adapt our policies, communications, and programs to ensure our top priority: the health and safety of our employees, customers, partners, and communities.
Now and into the near future, the world remains, rightfully so, almost exclusively focused on ensuring the security of employees and maintaining business operations. And we want to ensure that we are responsive to these needs.
Citrix is a clear leader in business continuity and remote work, with over 30 years of experience helping our customers and partners around the world manage their businesses through a variety of disruptions, including a whole host of natural and man-made disasters.
As a leader, we believe we have a responsibility to help everyone in the business world navigate the new paradigm of extended work from home and business continuity initiatives.
With that in mind, we have decided to postpone Citrix Synergy Digital to a virtual program to be held in the fall timeframe. We will determine exact program dates and format to best suit the evolving global situation.
In the interim, we will focus on helping our customers with their immediate concerns. Beginning in April, we will launch Remote Works: a Citrix Virtual Series to provide a forum featuring Citrix subject matter experts (SMEs), customers, partners, and industry experts sharing a wide range of best practices for remote working and business continuity. Topics covered in the online series will include remote work technology, security, employee management, personal productivity, as well as insights into how to evolve for future based on the experiences of this crisis.
We will deliver this series through many different platforms, choosing what is best suited for the topic and audience, ranging from webinars, teleconferences, and podcasts to social media programs like Twitter Chats, Facebook Live, and LinkedIn Live. Already in the lineup:
- Andrew Hewitt, a leading infrastructure, operations, and employee experience analyst with Forrester Research;
- Brian Solis, award-winning author, futurist, and globally renowned expert on both customer and employee experience;
- Citrix CIO Meera Rajavel and Chief People Officer Donna Kimmel; and,
- Multiple customers from different industries and geographic locations.
We are excited about the new series, and look forward to joining the remote work discussion with you. Watch citrix.com and this space in the coming days for a full agenda and more details.
