The crowd was buzzing as the Citrix partner community gathered in Orlando for Summit 2020. This year’s event is all about building a better platform for work to help customers do the work of the future. Partners, sponsors, and Citrix experts mingled at Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, eager to share knowledge, make new connections, and plan for the coming year.

Day 1 was all about the big picture. Citrix President and CEO David Henshall pointed the way forward with the vision and priorities for 2020 and beyond. Mark Ferrer, Executive VP and Chief Revenue Officer, then outlined the 2020 sales priorities that will be the catalyst to change the customer conversation about the new Citrix. Andrea Canavan, VP of Global Sales Enablement, spoke about how Citrix is driving transformative solutions and how our partners can come along on this journey with us by following the sales plays.

We also heard from Chris Hall, VP of Global IT at KEMET Corporation, who is taking his company’s Citrix investment beyond virtualization to drive better outcomes. Hector Lima, SVP, Worldwide Customer Success, shared how the customer success team empowers customers like Chris to accelerate their move to the cloud.

Bronwyn Hastings, Senior VP of Worldwide Channel Sales and Ecosystems, showcased how, together with our partners, we are winning in cloud and the opportunity we have ahead of us amidst a shifting customer landscape. She walked through the capabilities our partners will need for success in 2020 and how Citrix is going to help them along the way. To wrap up and recognize our exceptionally hard-working partners, she presented the highly anticipated Worldwide Partner of the Year Award to Fujitsu.

Helping Victims of Australia’s Fires

In addition to all the business updates, we also announced that Citrix is making a 25,000 USD pledge to the Australian Red Cross to support reconstruction efforts, and we’ll be matching partner donations on-site up to 25,000 USD. You can learn more about making a donation here.

Something for Everyone at Summit

The action continued throughout the Disney World Resort, as partners flocked to the Solutions Expo to connect and collaborate with sponsors, vendors, product developers, and other Citrix pros. People loved the mix of marketing, sales, and technology resources, and we heard some great feedback.

Summit 2020 is off to a great start, and the excitement continues on Day 2, as we team up to deliver the next wave of transformative solutions.
