As we wrap up 2019 and look towards the new year, it’s the perfect time to reflect on our accomplishments. We’re proud of the work we’ve done this year to enhance the Citrix Workspace app for iOS and deliver a great experience for our end users.
But we couldn’t have done it without our users, who throughout the year, gave us feedback that enabled us to make meaningful changes to the product. Our customers’ support and engagement helped shape our roadmap and make significant improvements to benefit our user experience, productivity, and security.
The Citrix Workspace App for iOS: 2019 Updates
Let’s take a look at key highlights from our 2019 updates from the Citrix Workspace app for iOS. Remember, you can find more details on new features in our release notes.
- We built the 1911 release to enable you to take advantage of Citrix Workspace’s intelligent capabilities, which include microapps and workflows, universal search, and virtual assistance. - With our 1909 release, we made the Citrix Workspace app faster, more responsive, and more engaging, supporting features like multitasking and AssistiveTouch and taking advantage of the improved user experience in iOS 13. Learn more in this blog post.
- With the 1906 release, we made session roaming available, enabling users to move the session from their device to a workspace hub. We also added keyboard layout synchronization, which lets users switch preferred keyboard layouts on the client device.
- In the 1905 release, we integrated the support of host-to-client redirection, which enables users to control whether they access information by using apps published on servers or apps running locally on user devices. You can learn more here.
