The security of Citrix Web App Firewall – now on the AWS Marketplace

This post was co-authored by Frank Bunger, Sr. Product Manager.

Citrix customers leveraged the power of the Citrix ADC platform from the AWS Marketplace for years. Now, we’re excited to announce that we are also listing the industry-leading Citrix Web App Firewall (WAF) on the AWS Marketplace.

Citrix WAF is an enterprise-grade WAF solution that mitigates threats against customers’ public-facing and internal web assets, including websites, applications, and APIs. With comprehensive security from network layer 3 to layer 7, Citrix WAF includes protections such as IP reputation, bot mitigation, defense against the OWASP Top 10 application threats, built-in signatures to protect against application stack vulnerabilities, and more.

While the additional AWS Marketplace listing is new, Citrix WAF has been available in AWS as part of the ADC platform. We’ve seen customers use Citrix WAF in AWS to provide protection for everything from disaster recovery and data center migration to new points of presence for their applications and full and partial cloud migration. Customers use Citrix WAF in AWS to protect their mission-critical websites, apps, and APIs. They’ve benefited by leveraging the same product and code base they already know and love in their on-prem environments, which simplifies digital transformations, cloud migration, and hybrid multi-cloud architectures.
