While organizations across various sectors are adapting to the continued growth in SaaS solutions and availability, there are still concerns about access. With Citrix Secure Workspace Access, your organization can control the information shared between end users and SaaS providers. Below, we’ll outline features that will help you to take full advantage of your Citrix platform.

Citrix Secure Workspace Access enables IT admins to publish and secure access to SaaS applications. There are additional security features that can be enforced without the complexity of creating a GPO or policy in Citrix Studio. For example, admins can restrict actions such as downloads and clipboard access in Citrix Cloud. In addition, Citrix offers single-sign-on capability to SaaS applications through Citrix Gateway service.

You can find a list of supported SaaS applications here, and Citrix is continually adding support for more applications.

Enhanced Security Policies for SaaS

Not only is it possible to publish SaaS applications in minutes, but it’s also possible to set enhanced security policies that enable you to restrict clipboard access, printing, navigation, and more. For additional security features, IT admins can display watermarks on the user’s screen, exposing the username and IP address of the user’s machine. Enhanced security policies are also flexible and can be enforced on mobile devices.

Web Filtering Policies for Internet

These policies restrict user access to specific websites and categories with web filtering policies. Although our database organizes URLs into different categories, you may encounter a URL that isn’t classified. Content access settings can be configured to block entire domains. Additionally, you can configure categories to add, block, or redirect to a secure browser with Citrix Secure Workspace Access.

You can find a list of third-party categories and category groups here.

User Behavior and Analytics

We’ve integrated analytics into Citrix Secure Workspace Access to monitor and mitigate risks for your environment. For example, if a user is accessing an application or site that has a risky reputation score, the site or domain can be blocked. In contrast, if the actual risk is unknown due to undetectable behavior, it will be redirected through the secure browser. The admin can view threats and metrics on the User Security Dashboard, App Security Dashboard, User Operations Dashboard, and App Operations Dashboard.

The emphasis of virtualization is increasing productivity for the end user. With Citrix Secure Workspace Access, IT admins can be just as productive!
