This week we kick off Google Cloud Next ’19 in San Francisco, and Citrix is proud to be a signature sponsor. The last year has marked a major evolution of our partnership, and we are excited to tell the joint Citrix-Google Cloud story and show customers and partners from around the world how we are working together to drive productivity and digital transformation.
Partnership Update – Journey to the Cloud
Citrix and Google Cloud have been partners since 2011 with solutions for delivering Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops to Chrome devices and managing Android devices. Today there are thousands of Citrix customers and millions of users who use Chrome and Android devices as their main way to access their Citrix Workspace. And we continue to innovate with Google Cloud to ensure Chrome and Android Enterprise are first-class options in this cloud-native world.
Check out the video below to see how Middlesex Hospital is using Citrix and Chrome Enterprise to change the way they provide healthcare to the people who live in their community.
Integration with G Suite
In 2018, we took the first steps with Google Cloud to help our joint customers begin their journey to the cloud. The Citrix Workspace solutions traditionally installed on data center servers — including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Networking, and Citrix Content Collaboration (formerly known as Citrix ShareFile) — are now available on Google Cloud Platform.
The positive response from customers to our release announcement was immediate, and we have quickly gotten customers started running Citrix Networking products and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops in Google Cloud Platform. We also announced a higher level of integration with G Suite to ensure that we can deliver one of the most-used SaaS apps in the world into the Citrix Workspace with the same user and admin benefits we do with Virtual Apps.
The last year has seen us take our partnership with Google Cloud to the next level — but we’re really excited to share with you what’s coming next.
