As discussed in a previous blog post about the focus on security, Citrix continues to release new models with security in mind. It’s an exciting time, as we introduce our new low-end NetScaler MPX 5900 and MPX 8900 series.
NetScaler MPX 5901, 5905 and 5910.
Targeted at customers that require SSL/TLS capabilities especially with ECDHE, and a low throughput requirement. The new MPX 5901, 5905 and 5910 come with 1Gbps, 5Gbps and 10Gbps of L7 throughput respectively. The 5900 platform comes with one port configuration: 2x10GE SFP+ and 6×10/100/1000 CU. The 5900 models support “Pay As You Grow” and Burst Pack license upgrades from the lower licenses. SFP+ fiber transceivers and 1G copper transceivers sold separately.
NetScaler MPX 8905, 8910, 8920 and 8930.
Targeted at customers that require SSL/TPS capabilities especially with ECDHE, and a low to mid-range throughput requirement. The new MPX 8905, 8910, 8920 and 8930 come with 5Gbps, 10Gbps, 20Gbps and 30Gbps of L7 throughput respectively. The 8900 platform comes with one port configuration: 4x10GE SFP+ and 6×10/100/1000 CU. The 8900 models support “Pay As You Grow” and Burst Pack license upgrades from the lower licenses. SFP+ fiber transceivers sold separately.
