Citrix Synergy Attendance Increases 26 Percent in Its Second Year

Conference Connects IT Leaders, Tech Experts, Customers and Partners in Conversations About Virtualization, Networking and Application Delivery

(NASDAQ:CTXS) announced the company hosted more than 3,000 attendees from over 1,000 companies and 56 countries who gathered to examine the future of virtualization, networking and application delivery technologies designed to help companies maximize constrained IT spending.  In addition, more than 50 leading IT vendors joined Citrix as sponsors and exhibitors, displaying the hottest new technology in virtualization, networking and application delivery.

Held in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand, May 4 - 7, this year’s five-day mega-conference included several separate industry events designed to bring attendees up to speed on the latest application delivery trends and technology:

Citrix also announced today that due to the growing importance of virtualization, application networking and application delivery, it will begin in 2010 a twice yearly rotation for Synergy.  Citrix Synergy Spring will be May 11-14, 2010 at San Francisco’s Moscone Center.  Citrix Synergy Autumn will be held in Berlin, Germany in October.
Synergy 2009 closes on Friday, May 8 at noon.
